Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of an Russian mother from India and a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India to her Russian father and an Indian mother, speaks fluently in both languages. In her early teens she choreographed and danced in a show that resulted in the honor of a German TV appearance. The show included a snow maiden from Russia that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. She graduated from high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. She studied acting classes in the HB Studios, but then left to pursue improvisational comedy at the Groundlings School. Her parents were a Hindu and an Indian father, Ghanshan K Mahendru. She also had an Indian father, and a Russian mother, Olga. At the age of 13, her parents divorced. Her father relocated the household to East Meadow New York. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. She has had a recurring appearance on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
