Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music singer and songwriter from America. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe known as Pistol Annies, with Angaleena presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, followed by her release of her 2nd album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe Performing with Blake Shelton In 2015 she came out The Blade, her follow-up album. The Blade, another album which earned her fame and accolades. Ashley Monroe works as the assistant village manager for Riverside Illinois. With over fifteen years' experience, she has worked at various levels of public service, which included five years in the Iowa City deputy City Manager post. She is currently the Village Manager's Assistant and holds a wide range of responsibilities which include managing the Community Development and Building Department and overseeing grants and special projects. Ashley's role at Riverside is to assist in the day-to-day operations of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by the elected officials. Ashley has held a variety of responsibilities previously, such as municipal planning, government communications budgeting personnel management collective bargaining in addition to working on climate change-related initiatives. Ashley gained valuable insight from working with national organisations and also from her work with various communities. Ashley's program focuses on leadership, management and public administration from the viewpoint from a practitioner in the field. Ashley's emphasis on adapting to current challenges and opportunities while navigating the complexities of intergovernmental and community relations and making ethical decisions will provide a framework for aspiring professionals as well as those working in public institutions.
